Mr. DeMasters joins Brynwood Golf & Country Club as GM after serving in the same capacity at Concord Country Club in Pennsylvania and Montgomery Country Club in Maryland. Prior to that, he helped manage The Resort Course and The Palmer Course at the renowned Westin La Cantera Resort in San Antonio. In his nine years with Troon, he has established an impressive record of success for operational excellence. In addition, Mr. DeMasters is a Class A PGA member and CMAA member.
Mr. Brown has extensive experience in the private club sector, having spent 15 years managing food and beverage operations at such prestigious clubs as Entrada at Snow Canyon, the Desert Mountain clubs, and The Phoenician Resort. Since joining Troon in 2005, Mr. Brown has worked at the corporate level as Troon’s Regional Food and Beverage Director to ensure that Troon benchmark standards are achieved consistently throughout all US clubs. He is an active member of the CMAA.
Mr. Anderson has been the golf course superintendent at the former Canyon Club since 2007. He is responsible for all aspects of golf course and grounds management, including maintaining championship conditions while following sound environmental practices. He has previously served at Country Club of Dairen, Morefar Golf Club, Quaker Ridge Golf Club and Redding Country Club.
Mr. Lowney has been with Troon Golf since 2005, serving as Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf at three of the most prestigious Troon Golf private courses in the portfolio. After opening Lake of Isles in 2005 and serving as Head Golf Professional, Mr. Lowney was named Director of Golf at The Crosby in Rancho Santa Fe, California. During his tenure with Troon, each golf shop was selected 2005-2010 into the Golf Magazine and Golf World Business Top 100 Golf Shops in the country.
Mr. Hogh brings extensive playing experience as an All-American and top ranked junior in the Northeast, ITF Orange Bowl participant, and as a member of an NCAA Division I tennis program. He is a USPTA Level 1 Pro with over 15 years of tennis teaching experience. Mr. Hogh owns and operates Knickerbocker Sports, a tennis academy that has built a solid reputation and strong following in the New York metro area. He has also served as the Head Teaching Professional at the Southampton Bath & Tennis Club in Southampton, NY.
Mr. Nicholls supervises agronomy at Brynwood. He brings more than 20 years of experience in all levels of golf course maintenance and agronomy, and is an experienced operator who has served as a Superintendent on the ground at many high-end facilities. He ran Troon’s agronomy operations in Australasia before relocating his family back to Scottsdale 6 years ago.
Mr. Hadreas is directly responsible for corporate oversight of Brynwood’s food and beverage operations. Prior to joining Troon Golf in 2000, he managed F&B at such renowned facilities as Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, TPC of Avenel in Potomac, Maryland and the Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, California. In addition, he has served the same role for several PGA Tour tournaments as well as supervising and managing formal dinners for the Chaine de Rotissierie and the Rolls Royce and Mercedes Benz motor companies.
Mr. DeMore is committed to supervising Brynwood’s set-up and re-organization. He has more than 16 years of experience in the hospitality, golf and private club industry. Prior to his appointment as Vice-President at Troon Golf, Rob served as the General Manager at Entrada at Snow Canyon, the Lodge at Ventana Canyon (named the #1 Resort in North America by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine), and Managing Director at the prestigious Whitetail Golf Club and Resort in McCall, Idaho, which was named by Conde Nast as one of America’s Top Places to Stay.
